Yes, you can apply to include dependants, including newborn children, to your health plan, subject to meeting assessment criteria from our medical team.
Dependants can be added when you first take out your plan or can be added at any time in the future.
There is no limit to the number of children who can be included in your plan.
If I add children to my plan, what level of cover will they receive?
When dependants are added to a health plan, you have the option to choose the level of cover you would like them to have. This could mean the same plan or level of cover as the main policyholder, or it could be a different tier and/or deductible to the main policyholder.
This means flexibility for you to choose the type of cover that best suits your family needs.
How do you support everyday family health?
You can be sure that experts are on hand for the everyday, as well as the unexpected.

Plus, all of our plans offer access to Blua digital health services at no additional cost, to help you stay well, and get well, wherever you might be. This includes unlimited virtual appointments with a doctor, at any time of the day or night.
Can pre-existing conditions be covered?
Pre-existing conditions could be covered, subject to meeting assessment criteria from our medical team.
When you apply for a health plan you will be asked to provide all information about any illness or injury for which you received medication, advice or treatment, or you had experienced symptoms before you become a customer.
Our medical team will review your medical history to decide the terms on which we will offer you a health plan. We may cover any pre-existing conditions, possibly for an extra premium, or decided to exclude specific pre-existing conditions or apply other restrictions to your health plan.
We will not cover any pre-existing conditions that you did not disclose in your application.
