What is MembersWorld?

MembersWorld is the first place to go for information about the benefits available under your health plan, pre-authorisation, claims and membership and payment queries. Your MembersWorld online account gives you access to Bupa Global whenever you need it.


You can send us a message on MembersWorld by logging in and clicking on the ‘message us’ icon. Once you've sent us your message you can go about your day, and you'll get a notification on your device when we reply. You can then reply if you need to. MembersWorld is for everyone over the age of 16 on the policy.

How do I create a MembersWorld account?

You can register for MembersWorld here: https://membersworld.bupaglobal.com/logon/signup and download the Bupa Global MembersWorld app from your app store. MembersWorld is for everyone over the age of 16 on the policy. Please note that each person registering for MembersWorld will need to use a unique email address for their account.

How do I view my dependants' details in MembersWorld?

If you're the main policyholder and you'd like access to information about your dependants who are over the age of 16 in MembersWorld, they'll need to register for an account and give you authorisation to access their details. They can do this by going to their account settings and updating their consent options here: https://membersworld.bupaglobal.com/settings/dependant-privacy.


This is to comply with the UK’s data protection laws. If your dependants are under the age of 16, you'll be able to view their details. Once they turn 16, they can register for their own account here: https://membersworld.bupaglobal.com/logon/signup.


If you're not the main policyholder, you won't be able to access information about other dependants in MembersWorld.

Policy and account access

Can I add other people to my policy?

You can add dependants to your health plan by completing an application form. You can locate the form on MembersWorld here: https://membersworld.bupaglobal.com/my-plan/documents, or you can contact us, and we'll send you a form to complete. If you're on a company plan, you'll need to speak with your company group secretary or administrator. If your plan is managed through a broker, you’ll need to contact your broker.

How can I, as the main applicant, check the policies of my dependants over 16 on my account?

As a main applicant you can access your own policy information, and the policy information of any dependants up to the age of 16, above this age, they will need to provide consent for you to view or alter their information. Dependants aged 16 and above can grant the main applicant authorisation to view their details and claims on MembersWorld. To do so, dependants need to register their own MembersWorld account first and then click on the ‘Account Settings’ page and then the ‘Privacy’ button. If the dependant is under 16 years of age, you’ll be able to manage their claims and account immediately.


Please note the above does not grant authorisation to discuss the dependant's policy via direct contact, such as by telephone or email. If you’d like to discuss your dependant’s policy directly with us, we’ll need the dependant to contact us by phone, email, letter, or online message to grant permission.
