Innovation was the key theme we discussed at our latest Intermediary Advisory Board (IAB) where we gathered strategic partners in Lisbon to discuss how it’s reshaping the way customers receive treatment and how they access care.
During the event, the biggest shift in healthcare was apparent.
The challenge
Customers are no longer looking for transactional cover.
They expect healthcare that’s continuous, personalised, and digitally enabled. At Bupa Global we know that creating more connected healthcare journeys and responsive experiences are key to meeting customer demand and enabling better outcomes.
Meanwhile, despite the growing demand, health systems remain under pressure. Medical inflation, utilisation and complexity all continue to rise.
Together, we explored what this means in practice. From the evolving role of our partners to balancing innovation with long-term sustainability, we discussed the undeniable potential in shaping the future of international healthcare through stronger collaboration, innovation, and investing in local partnerships.
