Bupa Global hosts key intermediaries in France

February 2026

Bupa Global hosts key intermediaries in Paris as part of our continued investment in France

When we launched in France last year, we talked about our ambition. We are now building momentum. This month we held an event in Paris for our key intermediary in region, we kickstarted a new conversation in healthcare.

This conversation moves beyond simply funding treatment, and towards:

  • prevention
  • joined up healthcare powered by Connected Care
  • using technology to personalise, prevent and predict outcomes for our customers

It was a pleasure to host our partners for this exclusive evening to bring to life our global healthcare expertise in the region.

With James O'Reilly, General Manager Europe, and Anastasia Miller, Branch Manager in France, we welcomed François-Xavier Duchateau, Medical Director at Bupa, and guest speakers from JAAQ, Plug and Play Tech Center and Vira Health. Together we explored:

  • The future of healthcare, with a closer look at our latest Bupa Global Healthcare Insights Report, and what our data is telling us about the changing customer needs in France
  • Global trends impacting a changing healthcare landscape, evolving customer demands and how we’re responding
  • The latest innovation in digital platforms, tech and AI, and their impact on healthcare, taking a closer look at mental health and women’s health
  • Thank you to those who attended and enriched the conversation during the interactive table session. It was great to hear from you, connect, and share ideas

The French market is changing. Expectations are rising. And the role of the insurer is evolving with it.

That means investing locally. Listening carefully. And building long-term partnerships that help our intermediary partners lead a different kind of healthcare conversation with their clients.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed so openly to the discussion.

This isn’t a one-off event. It’s an ongoing dialogue that’s only just begun. Our entry in the French market is a long-term strategic investment. Our ambition is to become the trusted global healthcare partner that delivers medical excellence with local relevance.

We’re looking forward to the journey ahead together.
