  • Driven by customer growth and improved margins

Revenue across Bupa Global, India and UK market units increased by 13% to £5.8bn, driven by continued customer growth across our insurance businesses and by more people using our healthcare services.

Underlying profit rose to £330m, supported by this growth in customers and improved margins in several parts of the business.

We re invested £290m to strengthen our foundations for future growth. This included investment in digital and systems, upgrades across our provision estate, acquisitions in Health Services and Care Services, and continued focus on Genomics and the Clinical Training Academy, which are shaping the future of health and care.

Alongside this, we continued to invest in our people, delivering a broad portfolio of leadership programmes, supporting over 1,600 apprentices across a wide range of programmes – from AI and data capabilities to leadership, finance, HR, cybersecurity and project management.

  • Bupa Global had a strong year, supported by continued investment in technology that will make life easier for our people and customers – including a new cloud based policy system.
  • UK Insurance delivered its strongest performance to date, with growth in every segment. We added 234,000 lives and closed 2025 with a record 4.2 million customers, including 2.9 million My Bupa users.
  • Niva Bupa had another standout year, growing its customer base rapidly as demand for health insurance in India continues to rise.
  • Our dental business continued its improvement, with strengthening margins with strong profit growth and investments in upgraded practices and clinical equipment, and more dental customers are choosing us.

Our expansion, alongside continued investment in data and digital, is already enabling us to deliver a smoother, more personal and better experience for customers.
