This year marked the beginning of our Savannah27 strategy, and at Half Year we have already seen amazing growth and progress. In the first six months of the year, we have served more customers than ever before at Half Year, continued to scale Blua (our digital health offering), and opened new health provision sites around the world. All while delivering a strong performance with improvements across revenue, underlying profit, customer numbers and customer experience – something we’re extremely proud of.
Here's an overview:
£8.8bn revenue
Our Group revenue increased 11% to £8.8bn at constant exchange rates, as we delivered customer growth across insurance and provision.
£480m underlying profit before tax
Underlying profit before tax was £480m, up 41% and driven by the strong growth in revenues and higher investment terms.
40 million health insurance customers
We now have over 40 million health insurance customers; a 23% increase compared to the first half of 2024.
Over 8 million Blua customers
Another key driver of our customer growth is Blua, with over 8 million customers using our digital health solution.
Improved NPS scores in 91% of our Business Units
Compared to the same period last year, we have improved NPS scores in 91% of our Business Units.
We’re just six months into our new Savannah27 strategy which is already coming to life through the progress we’ve made. This early momentum means we can be positive about the future, as we continue to drive business growth and innovation on behalf of our customers around the world.
