What is a Lifecare Concierge Manager and how can they support me?
Our Lifecare Concierge Managers are on hand as dedicated support to help customers who have an Ultimate Global Health Plan.
The role of our Lifecare Concierge Managers is to be a single point of contact for their members, via telephone or email, to proactively support them in managing their health journey. They provide personalised support, including scheduling routine healthcare appointments for you and your family, managing wellness treatments, coordinating emergency medical care, and managing claims on your behalf.

Our Elite and Ultimate Global Health Plans offer the highest level of cover available from Bupa. These plans offer an extensive and inclusive range of treatments and benefits, with higher overall annual limits.
Our Ultimate Global Health plan has no overall annual limit, two children can be included up to 16 years old at no additional cost subject to underwriting, you have access to your own Lifecare Concierge Manager to help you get the most from your health insurance plan, and access to complementary and preventive therapies including cryotherapy.

You have the option to choose from different areas of cover, which gives you more flexibility to choose the coverage that’s right for you.
Our private healthcare plans provide you with the largest global network of over 2 million medical practitioners, giving you access to specialists all over the world.
All of our plans also offer access to Blua digital health services at no additional cost, to help you stay well, and get well, wherever you might be.

What preventive health benefits are included?
Preventive health benefits are services which are aimed at preventing illnesses and promoting overall health. This could include benefits such as health screenings and wellness checks, eye tests, vaccinations, preventive dental care, newborn routine preventive care.
Customers with an Ultimate Global Health Plan can also access a wide range of benefits and natural therapies, including cryotherapy, therapies for sleep disorders, sports massage, and vitamin treatments, plus genetic cancer screening (subject to eligibility criteria).
Preventive benefits will vary according to the plan chosen and some waiting periods may apply.

Pre-existing conditions could be covered, subject to meeting assessment criteria from our medical team.
When you apply for a health plan you will be asked to provide all information about any illness or injury for which you received medication, advice or treatment, or you had experienced symptoms before you become a customer.
Our medical team will review your medical history to decide the terms on which we will offer you a health plan. We may cover any pre-existing conditions, possibly for an extra premium, or decided to exclude specific pre-existing conditions or apply other restrictions to your health plan.
We will not cover any pre-existing conditions that you did not disclose in your application.
