Employee Support Programme

Our wellness benefit for group customers and their members

Bupa Global’s insurance plans are designed to cover the mind as well as the body and can go a long way towards helping promote a healthy workforce and making a positive difference to your customers’ business.

Mental ill health affects the productivity of those in work by impairing their ability to function at full capacity. A recent WHO-led study estimates that depression and anxiety disorders cost the global economy US$ 1 trillion each year in lost productivity.1

To support the mental wellbeing of your customers and their employees, all levels of Bupa Global’s SME plans include ‘Everyday Resources’ (a Global Employee Support Programme – ‘ESP’) as a standard benefit.

Extra support during the global pandemic

We understand that the mental health of employees is currently under more pressure than ever during these unprecedented times. That is why, in May 2020, we decided to provide access to the ESP service for SME customers, regardless of when the plans renewed over the next 12 months. Previously this benefit would only have come into effect from renewal.

All SME customers can access the service using the code: BGEVERYDAYRESOURCES

Upon renewal, the ESP benefit will be added to the plan and membership guide.

For information about access to the ESP service for Corporate clients, please speak to your Bupa Global representative.

How will employees find out about the service?

Details of the WPO website (including the standard access code) can be found in the relevant Everyday Resources flyer or their Bupa Global member guide from renewal.
